This incident resulted in the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 car park.

An additional two individuals have been arrested related to a theft at London's Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals were injured by what is thought to be pepper spray, as stated by police.

A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in the Lambeth area on suspicion of robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was detained on suspicion of conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

These detentions follow an investigation into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Prior to the attack, two women were robbed of their luggage after getting out of a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was one of the those hurt in the event. Five people were taken to the hospital for treatment and have since been released.

Police detained a 31-year-old man for suspected theft and assault near the scene. He has since been released under investigation while inquiries continue.

Authorities were called at approximately 08:10 GMT following reports of a number of people hurt by an irritating chemical thought to be pepper spray.

The attack - which authorities stated was isolated and not being treated as terrorism - caused delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the T3 parking facility briefly.
